Day 4 was a short day for me as i had to run back to office for meetings.
Anyhow, the learning that i got out from today was through the discussion of my group project. It has allowed me to crystallise my understanding of New media through the application in a course which the SAF conducts.
Aside from understanding of the application of new media, what was really interesting for me was the differing views that everyone shared on how to approached it - we call this group dynamics (norming & storming) and create buy-in. Anywatys, the endstate was successfully achieved with everyone happy
What am i exactly trying to say....
In the digital world - strengthening group dynamics through the use of NM could be a challenge... While there are perks of it to enhance learning and gain knowledge, we should be mindful that there are certain limitations and that it should never replace 'social networking through face to face' because it is where we are able to put a 'real face' to what we do and why we do things :)
